Ever since my injury last year, I’ve struggled to find a balance in life with the right exercise for me because I can no longer do high intensity activities that I love like sprinting and plyometric workouts. This year, I’ve focused on nailing that down by combining a mix of barre, yoga, and my new favorite HIIT cardio workout in Scottsdale, Simply Cardio. Alongside all my favorite outdoor activities – hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, etc.
But to be honest – between traveling, moving in with my boyfriend, rehabbing my leg, and just…life – I’ve really let my healthy eating slip!
Here’s a gift list for all you procrastinators that still need to buy some gifts! I made sure to include something for everyone in here. Good luck gifting!
If you’re not familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this is the biggest
sale of the year! It’s all new Fall items for preview – but ON SALE! So instead of old stuff that no one wants going on sale, it’s new stuff for the current season! The prices go UP when the sale is over, instead of down on a higher clearance.
There are literally thousands of items on sale which can be overwhelming, so I’ve narrowed them down to my favorites by each department. Here goes!
Soooo I got a chance to try Stitch Fix…and I need to say it is the most awesome service ever! As someone who is sooo busy I barely have time to shop (even online!) and this takes the worry out of it. Also, it’s just fun seeing what someone picks out for you – it’s nice to have a different perspective. You can choose all of your style preferences, and if there’s something you don’t want/need (i.e. I do NOT need jewelry, as I work for Stella & Dot), you can opt out of that in your profile! (more…)
When someone says “outlets”, you typically think of your average outlet mall – usually you can find a Quicksilver store, Famous Footwear, Gap, and maybe even a Polo Ralph Lauren if you’re lucky. You go to an outlet mall to get your basics for less, not for today’s most recent looks. (more…)
If you ask anyone who knows me what my favorite season to dress for is, it’s winter! It doesn’t matter if it’s casual wear, cocktail, or even pajamas – winter is my absolute fave. For casual daytime wear I love layering with sweaters, scarves, boots and jackets. I also love dressing up using clean lines of classic winter silhouettes like culottes and A-line dresses. But I think my favorite part about winter clothes is cozying up next to the fire in comfy flannel pj’s. (more…)
October is my blogiversary!! I started my blog in 2010, and I’ve done a loootttt of outfits over the years. Some that I were super proud of, and some…uhhhhh…not so much. As I look back, it’s clear that 2014 was my biggest year on my blog…from the growth of my following to the development of my personal style. So in tribute to my best blog year, I decided to put together some of my favorite looks from 2014! (Stay tuned with my fave 2015 looks). Here are 14 of my favorite looks from 2014 (from oldest to newest):
Fringe is taking over Fall Fashion 2015!
It’s still pretty hot in Arizona by the time Fall comes around, so the way I usually transition into Fall fashion is with my accessories. Fringe is a huuuuge trend this Fall, which is perfect because I love channeling my inner Southwestern spirit, and now it’s in style to do so! Here are my favorite fringe accessories this season:
OMG this is my first post in so long!! Arizona has been hot as balls and there is no amount of money that anyone can pay me to pretend to look like I’m having a good time taking pictures of my outfits in 115 degrees. So, I waited until it was only 105 and snuck a look in for you! (more…)
I thought about wearing some bright, Springy colors for my first post of May, but then I thought…”nah, who am I kidding?!” I’m the biggest advocate of black, and I want to show how you can wear it during any season!! (more…)
