My goal for this year’s Christmas decor was to 1) make it feel completely like we are in a snowy cabin and 2) make it as cozy and warm as possible. Basically a “cozy winter wonderland”.
Since I wanted to start new with a different Christmas theme this year (last year I did more of a glam look), I bought (mostly) all new decor from The Modern Rustic Home, Target, and Hobby Lobby.
Here’s some inspo for all you who need help cozying up your house this holiday season! For starters you neeed some comfy pillows, candles, and TARTAN in your life! Secondly, pine and antlers anything is always allowed. Third, don’t forget about entertaining! It’s fun to be able to get out the Christmas serveware to be festive. Eat your heart out!
This post is for all you who LOVE seasonal decor, but don’t want to spend a fortune (or a whole week) decorating for just one season.
Many of you know (if you’re following me on Instagram or Snapchat), that I recently moved into my boyfriend’s bachelor pad and that he gave me full control to redo literally everything. Not exaggerating. Wait, ok fine… all that’s left from the original bachelor pad are the king mattress/bed frame and his corner desk in the office. Other than that, not one inch of this place is the same after being Nohea-fied. I posted this before and after on Instagram earlier this week, now I’m finally posting the details!
If you’ve been following me on social media, you’ll have seen all of our craziness around the house with projects, painting, demo-ing, building, decorating, and everything else. I’m excited to finally share one project from this bachelor pad that is actually finished! Check out below for the dining room/bar area B&A and how we did it.
If you’re not familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, this is the biggest
sale of the year! It’s all new Fall items for preview – but ON SALE! So instead of old stuff that no one wants going on sale, it’s new stuff for the current season! The prices go UP when the sale is over, instead of down on a higher clearance.
There are literally thousands of items on sale which can be overwhelming, so I’ve narrowed them down to my favorites by each department. Here goes!
I got quite a few questions about my frame wall on both my office and bedroom posts, so here is a little DIY on how I made them! (more…)
For my bedroom, I wanted something modern with a hint of traditional, luxurious, and relaxing. I decided on cool colors with white linens for a fresh, relaxing feel, and silver details for the mix of traditional and modern. I chose a modern dresser with silver detail to tie it all in! (more…)
I basically wanted an excuse to expand my closet and decorate a space super cute, so I turned my second bedroom into an office/closet space! This space is pretty much my oasis – a getaway when I need to unwind, drink a glass (or bottle) of wine, blast some music, and play dress up. It also gets my creative juices flowing for outfits or blog posts.
