Damsel Distressed

denim destroyed boyfriend light wash

Last week was the first week in Arizona that was consistently under 100 degrees, so naturally I decide to wear a jacket. Everything about this look is totally classic and feminine, and then just a little undone¬†with the destroyed boyfriend jeans (we can’t all be completely put together, ok?) I wanted to mix all timeless pieces together with one unexpected element. (more…)

If I said I was only mildly obsessed with this clutch I would be lying. I feel like it depicts my life so perfectly…stressed, but well dressed. But I would rather be that way than any other way! More well-known obsessions of mine are distressed boyfriend jeans and ankle strap heels. It creates an undone, but still polished look. I paired this super simple look with this great statement necklace from Wantable. It’s a great new styling service for makeup, accessories, and intimates. You get to fill out a personal profile, and your stylist chooses pieces for you based on your personal preferences. A new box of five pieces is shipped to you each month…it’s like Christmas! It’s definitely worth it for the jewelry junkies out there…they have such unique pieces that you will never find anywhere else! Keep on accessorizing, fashion friends!stressed but well dressed,

Gold Hearts & Boyfriend Jeans

This casual chic look is all thanks to Style Lately! I paired this Style Lately tee with some distressed boyfriend jeans for a casual look, but amped it up and made the look more refined with this Springy blazer and nude pumps. I love nautical, but hate when people take it overboard and look costume-y. One nautical piece per outfit is enough! Switch it up, and mix the nautical piece with something unexpected (*cough* boyfriend jeans *cough*).

Scarf Print

Another boyfriend jeans look! I really want to reiterate to you guys that boyfriend jeans go with everything!¬†This one is a little casual chic, but instead of the typical neutral palette that goes along with a casual chic look I added a bright print. I kept it fun with the metallic pumps, and obviously had to do a red lip because I played down the bright print with the simple blazer. You always have to have two fun elements to an outfit…this look, I had my top and my lip color! Makeup is part of your look, guys!
