Stitch Fix = The Busy Girl’s Style-Saver

stitch fix reviews

Soooo I got a chance to try Stitch Fix…and I need to say it is the most awesome service ever! As someone who is sooo busy I barely have time to shop (even online!) and this takes the worry out of it. Also, it’s just fun seeing what someone picks out for you – it’s nice to have a different perspective. You can choose all of your style preferences, and if there’s something you don’t want/need (i.e. I do NOT need jewelry, as I work for Stella & Dot), you can opt out of that in your profile! (more…)

Cozy

cozy inexpensive winter fashion

If you ask anyone who knows me what my favorite season to dress for is, it’s winter! It doesn’t matter if it’s casual wear, cocktail, or even pajamas – winter is my absolute fave. For casual daytime wear I love layering with sweaters, scarves, boots and jackets. I also love dressing up using clean lines of classic winter silhouettes like culottes and A-line dresses. But I think my favorite part about winter clothes is cozying up next to the fire in comfy flannel pj’s. (more…)

October is my blogiversary!! I started my blog in 2010, and I’ve done a loootttt of outfits over the years. Some that I were super proud of, and some…uhhhhh…not so much. Pretty With a Purpose: Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness 2015 in Style

Breast Cancer Awareness fashion

October is one of my favorite months! Not just for the pumpkin flavored everything and the chance to incorporate leather into my wardrobe, but also for all of the charity and giving that comes with the Fall season, including Breast Cancer Awareness. Last year, I attended the Fashionably Pink fashion show put on by Phoenix Fashion Week (click here to read all about it).  (more…)

Falling for Fringe

fall fashion trends 2015

Fringe is taking over Fall Fashion 2015!

It’s still pretty hot in Arizona by the time Fall comes around, so the way I usually transition into Fall fashion is with my accessories. Fringe is a huuuuge trend this Fall, which is perfect because I love channeling my inner Southwestern spirit, and now it’s in style to do so! Here are my favorite fringe accessories this season:

I thought about wearing some bright, Springy colors for my first post of May, but then I thought…”nah, who am I kidding?!” I’m the biggest advocate of black, and I want to show how you can wear it during any season!! (more…)

What to Wear to Coachella: Festival Fashion

festival fashion outfits

It’s April, which means music festivals!! From Coachella and Ultra to Country Thunder and iHeart Radio, April is a busy (and loud) month. I’m not making it to Coachella (or “‘Chella” as the coole people call it nowadays) this year, but I am going to attend one day at Country Thunder and I’m so excited! I’m not the big crowd type, so I’m lucky that the festival is only about an hour away from me and I can just drive up and back to watch my favorite artists. (more…)

Spring Fashion Trends 2015

spring summer fashion trends denim distressed

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the “Spring Into Style” fashion show put on by Phoenix Fashion Week. I loved that it wasn’t just new designs for the season, it was a full trend show that showed six of the top fashion trends for Spring 2015. Every trend was styled by a local stylist, who each did an amazing job!! Here are some highlights from the show, and how I felt about how each trend was styled: (more…)

Baby Got a Ball Cap On

dainty gold jewelry

Most people’s favorite season is the holiday season but if you know me, you know that my absolute favorite time of year is baseball season….and in Arizona we get it a month early!! One of the best things about living in Arizona (besides the fact that we wear sandals in Winter) is Spring Training. The weather is perfect and I can get a group of friends together to sit on the lawn in the sunshine and watch a good game of baseball while enjoying a few beers. (more…)
