Happy Monday! I’m here to start your week with a little edgy fashion inspo. I’m obsessed with my new striped Karen Kane jacket with faux snake sleeves. It’s a little tomboy, a little edgy, and perfect for fall! I kept it simple by pairing it with neutral staple items like these cigarette leg trousers and a simple tank and strappy heels.
Last week was the first week in Arizona that was consistently under 100 degrees, so naturally I decide to wear a jacket. Everything about this look is totally classic and feminine, and then just a little undone with the destroyed boyfriend jeans (we can’t all be completely put together, ok?) I wanted to mix all timeless pieces together with one unexpected element. (more…)
If you haven’t noticed, I love to be edgy in fall! This means mixing rich textures and colors like leather/tweed/wool and navy/wine. I added some fringe and distressing for a little more edgy texture, too. This season is all about mixing it up!! What kinds of colors and textures are your favorite to mix and match? (more…)
Phoenix Fashion Week was all about showing off the unique designs from both prominent and emerging designers. I thought it was so great to see PFW encouraging budding designers to pursue their dreams by entering into this competition. The emerging designer competition consists of 14 designers and includes a four month designer boot camp, at the end of which one contestant will win $10,000 to go toward his or her dream of becoming a sought-after fashion designer. It’s such a perfect way showcase their hard work and talent and get noticed by buyers, bloggers, and potential customers.
I had the great pleasure of attending the annual ‘Fashionably Pink’ celebrity fashion show to kick off Phoenix Fashion Week. The show was to raise money for “Don’t be a chump! Check for a lump!“, which is a non-profit organization that allows women who were diagnosed with breast cancer to purchase a wig up to $250. (more…)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I want to show my support by giving you guys my favorite pink products! Some of these products are exclusive while supplies last in October, some of them give a percentage back to breast cancer research, and others are just my favorite! Here’s what I have picked: (more…)

Wear pieces that make you feel confident
Every woman has it…that skirt you feel amazing in or the blouse that makes your waist look two sizes smaller; maybe even just a lip shade that makes you feel super sexy. Stick to these pieces and own them. Confidence is magnetizing, and wearing these go-to pieces and items like them will make you a people magnet – at work or in the dating world.
Here’s yet another example of how I love to mix edgy and bohemian chic together for fall. These leatherette AG skinnies mixed with the snakeskin blazer is sleek and edgy, and I added the boho elements with this suede hobo bag and wide-brim fedora. I added simple, sleek, neutral accessories because there is a lot going on in this look and don’t want to overdo it. (more…)
