Glamping 101: An outdoorsy diva’s guide to camping comfortably

Hello, camping season!! To me, there is nothing like being in the mountains – the crisp fresh air, birds chirping all around, and the endless activities and adventures there are to explore. But don’t get me wrong…just because I love the outdoors doesn’t mean that I’m a hippie who doesn’t clip her toenails or shave her armpits – I’m still a diva just like the rest of you! Some people have asked how I survive being a princess in the outdoors…I’ve been working on perfecting the art of comfortable camping, and I want to share my tips with all of you princesses that enjoy the outdoors and don’t mind waiting until after a weekend in the woods to get a fresh mani/pedi!


Sedona/Valentine’s Day Weekend!

So we realized that it was Valentine’s Day the Wednesday before so we planned a completely impromptu trip to Sedona, and it was absolutely perfect. Checking Off My Summer 2015 Bucket List

Before Summer started, I made it my mission to have an amazing Summer this year. I’ve never really had a “Summer vacation” spent having fun with friends; as I’ve always been either taking Summer classes, visiting family, or obligated to other responsibilities. Now I can finally say that I’ve successfully had a fun, adventure-packed Summer! Here are some of the major things that I checked off my Summer bucket list from Memorial Day to Labor Day this year:


Horseshoe Bend & Antelope Canyon

A few weekends ago, some friends and I went up north to Paige to visit a few spots that have been on my bucket list for ever! Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon are beautiful natural wonders of the world on Navajo Indian Reservation in Northern Arizona. I was born and raised in Arizona, but I’ve never made it to these places, and made it my mission this Summer to explore my own backyard. This was one of the spots that I made a point to check off my list, and I’m so glad that I did! (more…)
